Curtains Dance Callbacks

Thank you to all who auditioned today! The following students are invited to dance callbacks on Tuesday, November 19th.  Please dress in solid colored clothes that you can move in.  Please wear tennis shoes or character shoes.  Auditions will begin at 2:30 and we will finish at 5:00pm.  Please make sure you have a ride home by 5pm.  If you would like to request audition feedback from the audition panel, please wait until after Thanksgiving Break to contact Mrs. Walz.

Curtains: The Musical Audition Information

  • Auditions for Curtains: The Musical are open to all students who will attend BHS or Bartlett Academy for the 24-25 school year.  
  • There will be a $150 Activity Fee for this production.  We will hold a group fundraiser to offset the cost for all cast and crew members.  All money raised will be equally divided amongst the cast and crew.  
  • Rehearsals will begin on December 2.  Please see the production calendar below and list all conflicts on your audition form.  No conflicts will be accepted after rehearsals begin.  All tech and dress rehearsals are mandatory in their entirety.  PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ARE ABLE TO COMMIT TO THE SCHEDULE BEFORE AUDITIONING. 
  • For the good of the show and fairness to all cast, crew, and staff members, we ask that you not add any conflicts to your schedule once you have committed to the production.  If you are cast in Cutains and cannot keep your rehearsal and performance commitments, the Panther Playhouse directorial staff reserves the right to replace you.  
  • Familiarity with the script is strongly advised for all auditionees.  Scripts are available to checkout from Mrs. Walz.

What To Prepare

  • All auditionees must sing one of the audition songs listed below.  Sheet music and accompaniment tracks are linked below.  You will only sing a portion of the song approximately 32 bars.  The tracks and sheet music will be cut/marked for you.  
  • If you are interested in a particular role, please prepare one of that character's songs.  
  • ​NO A CAPELLA AUDITIONS WILL BE ALLOWED.
